Magaluf is without a doubt the party capital of Mallorca with a selection of dance clubs and music bars. The town also has a cracking beach of fine golden sand that is regarded by many people as the best on the Mallorca, plus several local amusement parks for the family groups.

BCM is by far the largest dance club in Magaluf and is spread over three floors, this popular club regularly attracts some of the top UK DJs. The lower level, known as the BCM Millenium, is the site of enormous pop corn and foam parties, while the upper level is known for its amazing laser and light shows. The middle level usually attracts a slightly older clientele. Other well known clubs in Magaluf include the Boomerang, Bananas, Tokio Joes and the seventies inspired Carwash, also famous for foam parties.

There are two Magaluf Water Parks within an easy drive of the town, the oldest of which is Aqualand Magaluf, with some exciting water flumes and chutes like the Kamikaze, the Tornado and the Black Hole. A newer addition is the Dragoland water play area especially for the younger children. A short trip away you will find the more recently opened Western Water Park with Wild West themed attractions like the Wild River, the Big Hole and the Tornado, plus a collection of tamer rides for small kids. The main attraction of the Western Water Park has to be the 850 foot long Mega Slide.

The very popular Pirates Adventure show has become a legend and is for many visitors and tourists the highlight of their vacation in Magaluf. Since it was begun in the eighties, the show has regularly attracted over 3 million paying visitors and takes place in a huge theatre close to the water park, using a full sized replica of a pirate galleon as the set. The swashbuckling display recounts the tale of a group of sailors, led by Captain Henry Morgan, who have to battle a pirate on the open seas. The entertainment comes complete with a pirates dinner of roast chicken and barbecued sausages. The Pirates Show is good and old styled family fun, but there is also an adults only version every Wednesday and Friday.

One of the latest family style attractions in Magaluf is the House of Katmandu, which is a Tibetan mansion, which has actually been constructed upside down. It is a fantasy world based on the fictional Kilgore Goode with rooms full of unusual relics like instruments of torture, with interactive to ensure the House of Katmandu is a truly surreal and often frightening experience for your Magaluf holidays.

Magaluf beaches stretch for over a mile between the Hotel Antilles and the cape of Torronova. Alongside it runs an esplanade lined with small shops, tourist hotels, fine restaurants and bars. Just a few hundred yards off the beach is the tiny island of Sa Porrassa. There are loads of water sports on hand in Magaluf, such as sub aqua diving, windsurfing and parascending.

Magaluf is located on the south western coastline of Mallorca on Palma Bay and is roughly 15 miles distant from Palma Airport.
